I’m half embarrassed to admit this, but we have an upstairs play/living/catch-all-the-toys room, and I rarely go in it – ha! It’s one of those places that I try to avoid, and general company never goes upstairs, so I just ignore it. We had the room set up for home school last year, and we used it sporadically throughout the year. So we spent some time this summer and spruced it up a bit. I relied on Walmart Home to find some cute pieces. Did you know that Walmart has a new section called ‘Wow and Now’ that has fun, trendy pieces at great prices? I grabbed several of the items online, and had them shipped directly to my house.
I love the Mainstays Parsons desk I got from Walmart Home. I ended up getting one for each of my big kids, and it’s been perfect for homework (and at-home learning). I was able to grab some fun twinkle lights, a cute clock, and a Rattan Weave basket (for storing cuddly reading blankets) to spruce up the space (all links are listed below in “Shop the Post”). Now I’m wondering which room to do next!
