I love parties. I love to plan them. I love to shop for them. I love to decorate for them. I love to cook for them. I love any occasion to get my favorite people together. Plus, I love to open other peoples’ presents. It’s a sickness I have.
PB’s big 1 year birthday is only a month away now. I thought I wanted to have a small, cake party at the house with only our immediate family because I wanted to do things cheap small. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought I could still have a nice, fun party, and have it CHEAPLY.
So off to my parent’s basement I went. It’s like a goldmine down there. I’m a bit of a pack rat when it comes to keeping pointless, random things. I found tons of burlap, gingham fabric, clay pots and crinkle paper from my wedding, lots of old paint, and my collection of The Babysitter’s Club books (this isn’t related to party supplies, but I’ve been looking for those dern things for years now-I had a great time catching up with Stacey, Claudia, and the girls. Raise your hand if you love the Babysitter’s Club!!!!)
What to do when you live on a farm, with lots of farm things, and you find burlap and gingham in your basement? You hit up your bff, pinterest, and you…….

Have a farm party!!!!!
Yep, we’re having a farm party. And I’ve got a small budget. I’ve got tons of stuff in my basement that I can use. And, I’ve got good friends who have good things I can borrow, too. I’ve been planning this for a couple of weeks now, so I’ve been collecting coupons like a mad woman. I’m planning on making all of the food myself (with the help of my momma-hear that mom???), but I’ll still need most of the budget money for food. So that means I’ll have to get creative with decorations and such.
I hope to report a fun, and budget friendly party to you in a little over a month. If you’ve got any budget friendly farm party ideas, please share!
Have a blessed weekend 🙂
